Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop

 Hello everyone!

There has been a lot of hype lately about "strobing", and it's basically extreme highlighting without any contouring. The effect is suppose to make one look super glowy and youthful. I think Jaclyn Hill (a popular youtuber) and her collaboration with Becca could not have come out at a better time. With everyone trying to achieve this look, I'm sure that contributed to their highlighter, Champagne Pop, being sold out online within hours of release. I made sure to have the email notification on for this particular product, and combined with double the ebates, I was suckered into purchasing this! This is my first becca shimmering skin perfector, because they cost a whopping $46 CAD. Another push for this purchase was made by the fact that a friend had told me she had seen the highlighters in store going for $51 CAD.

Along with the becca highlighter, I also ordered two of Kat Von D's new Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in Mother and Exorcism. I was extremely excited for these products to hit my doorstep, and they came in yesterday!

I pretty much tore into the package to take out my treasures!

Previous Haul From Once Upon A time

[Edited July 22nd, 2015: I didn't realize that I had not published this yet. It was in the drafts folder]

Hey all,

This is my sad attempt to post a little more regularly for the year of 2015! I took these photos quite some time ago, and I haven't had the chance to blog about them.

After being in school for the past 7 months, I've been in another make up rut. I don't want to experiment with anything, and quite frankly, I don't have time for it in the mornings. Sleep is more important than make up these days. I've actually gone to class with nothing on my face.

I'm here to share with you today, a haul I did in February! As I said, I hadn't been wearing much makeup, and so I was looking for things to inspire me again. I made an order through beautylish.com and makeupgeek. I also had the chance to go to sephora after i saw that YSL came out with a Chinese New Year set. Keep on reading if you want to see what I acquired this time around!

Belated IMATS Haul

Hello Friends!

I haven't been motivated enough to keep up with my blog posts. I genuinely hope that all of you are enjoying the new year of 2015. I started my second semester here, at NAIT, and it's just as stressful as it was in September. I'm not sure how to go about keeping up with everything. I suppose reading my textbooks during this break will help. ;P

I don't have any new photos to put up of my face, but I do have a very belated IMATS/Vancouver haul I can share. I have also made a mini order on makeup geek and beautylish. Hopefully those will come in the next two weeks, and I'll be able to share them with you.

IMATS was held on August 9 - 10th, 2014. I attended it with my cousin, Felicia. We had a blast walking around Vancouver and sampling all of the awesome (and cheap!) restaurants in the area we stayed in. The overall convention was underwhelming to say the least... we wished that larger vendors, such as NYX, MAC, and all of the other fun ones came to Vancouver. Alas, we did get our Hakuhodo brushes that we had lusted over previously. I hope you enjoy the small sampling of photos I have of my cosmetics!

New Lipstick Swatches and Face

WARNING - PICTURE HEAVY
(*cough* - pictures of myself, that is)

Two posts in one weekend? That's unheard of! If you haven't checked out my haul post from yesterday, click here.

I was originally going to combine the two, but after seeing how many images I would need to include I decided to separate them. I'm sure most people don't really want to see my naked face anyway.

This post is to feature two amazing things in my life - The Covergirl foundation, and lipsticks. Haha
An update on my real life though - It's safe to tell you all that... I'm currently upgrading my high school marks at NAIT. I should have done it sooner. A lot of people I know are calling me crazy, but I sincerely think this was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. I have a handful of people to thank for giving me direction during those times I was lost (ie. 3 blog posts back). I know that I'm capable of being competitive (phew, I thought I lacked that gene), and I'm hoping to ace the interviews for the different tech programs come April! Wish me luck, hehe!
